The openness of sunscreen fabric refers to the number of small holes interlaced by the warp and weft of shade fabric, using fibers of the same color and diameter to weave the same texture. Fabrics with 1% to 3% openness can block the most heat created by solar radiation and decrease glare, but they let in less natural light and have poor light transmission impact.
